Laurel is a lifelong Alaskan who excels at balancing play, work, and family. With over a decade of experience as a financial advisor, she has built a dedicated team ready to help you achieve your financial goals with tailored strategies and exceptional service.

In her free time, she enjoys running, skiing, and exploring her passion for interior design. Her journey began with an interest in personal finance, which blossomed into a deep commitment to business and planning. Laurel’s family legacy started with her amazing grandparents, Bob and Millie Renkert, who established roots in Anchorage.

She shares her life with her wonderful husband, Zak Melms, and their two amazing children, Jasper and Kenzie. The kids are the heart of the Renkert/Melms family! You can often find Laurel brightening the day in a colorful outfit and a warm smile.

Since moving to Alaska in 2012, Claire has fully embraced the outdoors and prioritized connecting with Alaskans of all kinds. When she’s not hiking, skiing, or running with friends, she’s channeling her drive to help others through financial planning with clients.

Before becoming a Financial Advisor, Claire built a strong foundation in public relations and policy strategy, supporting small businesses, Alaska Native corporations, utilities, and non-profit organizations. She was raised in Newton, Massachusetts, by two inspiring parents who instilled in her the values of dedication and excellence. She lives with her incredible husband, Lucas, and their nearly perfect dog, Maya, who runs the household.

Kristin joined the team in 2014 as an Advisor Assistant after four years as an educator in North Carolina. Kristin is the driving force behind the paperwork and details that ensure seamless office operations and provide vital administrative support for client accounts.

Kristin and her husband Derrick returned to their Alaskan roots after his service in the U.S. Army ended. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time outdoors with her husband and two children. Kristin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oregon.

Dee is a lifelong Alaskan with 30 years of experience in leadership, management, human resources, and client relations. If you’ve ever called our office, Dee is the friendly voice answering your call and offering support!

Her talents extend far beyond our office operations. As an Associate Certified Wellness Coach and an experienced pageant judge, she has contributed to panels for Miss Alaska in various categories, including Jr. High, High School, Collegiate, and Mrs. Alaska America. Additionally, Dee brings her expertise as a WSET Level 2 certified professional and Vice Conseiller Gastronomique for Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Alaska to her role as the owner of De' Vine Taste, a distinguished wine consulting and tasting business.

When she's not engaged in pageantry or exploring Alaska’s culinary scene, Dee enjoys traveling and spending summers on their boat in Prince William Sound with her husband, Sean, hosting ‘Wine on the Water’ events. She believes that "Life should taste as De' Vine as wine".
